Andrew Smith
Dave, They run down towards the lower part of the font valance air vents but they are not particularly effective - VUX's intake pipes have been left off for a better ram-air effect. Denis
Agree that! Don't need 'em it runs better without em!
zzzzdave
thanks for the feedback, i was intending to connect them to the grill to ram cold air into both pipes , but the consensus seems to leave em off Dave
PIAA
Hi Just curious. This item were introduced from CP52894 according to the Rimmer parts catalogue. Anyone knows why? Strange that Triumph would spend money on putting on useless parts. Andrew: Have you just removed them or done any other modification to the air intake? PIAA
Andrew Smith
Andrew: Have you just removed them or done any other modification to the air intake? Per Ivar, No, I still have the canister fitted but have angled the two intakes to face the grille for improved air-flow. Regards Andrew
BobE
Dave do not allow the intake pipes to hang down behind the valance, if you ever drive into water the pipes will pick it up resulting in an big bang and an expensive engine reair. The best thing is to remove them as stated above. Cheers Bob
