AlanT
No I am using a one piece Moss seal that goes over the flange to seal the door frame. I only use this on the backlight and screen frame to seal to the glass.

richphoto
I looked at mine last night and have a feeling it is the one piece type used on the TR6, which might explain why it is too tight for the doors to shut well.
AlanT
One piece seals can work fine. But on most of the current stuff the diameter of the "tube" is too big . This can be solved with a bit of modification.

AlanT
Careful work with a scalpel to convert the tube to a wing. Need to remove about 1/8in to 3/16in from the circumference. You take a bit more off where the bends are and a bit less on the straight runs. You need a NEW scapel blade and spit for lubricant. You must cut with virtually no pressure. Doors close up just right now. Edited May 14, 2014 by AlanT
