JANA
Anyone know how the horn push set up works? Bought a great Mota Lita wood rim s/w with boss, and the horn push has a spade connector on the underside, and yet the boss has a hole for the sprung horn push contact. Not sure how these should be connected? Any help appreciated - thx's. Bob.
ianhoward
Bob I had a similar set up - I soldered a short length of wire to the horn 'pencil' (that goes through the hole in the boss, crimping the wire to the connector on the back of the wheel centre... JANA
Ian, Thanks for your reply. Guessed that might be the solution, but before I got the soldering iron out I thought I'd check to see if a part was missing. Thanks. Bob.
TorontoTim
In the past, I have "modified" a spade connector to resemble the strip-like connector on the original horn push and then used the horn pencil thingy as normal.
