If you are referring to the ones leading to the 1st carb with a double banjo fitting and which then leads to a single banjo fitting for the 2nd carb, I took my old one to a shop where they repair and make special hoses for all sorts of hydraulic machinery. He made a new one for my very early 1958 TR3A that I have been using for two years now with no issues (8,000 miles). It was quite similar and reasonably priced.

Thanks for that. On closer inspection the one I have is not standard. After 24year without fuel going though it the rubber has perished. I'll take the whole lot to a specialist in Exeter and see what they can do.

After about TS 43000, they stopped using carbs with the banjo fittings. If your TR is later than TS 43000 - or if your TR has been retrofitted with later carbs, you will only have small rubber hoses to feed the fuel to the carbs. See photo. If your carbs look like these, all you need to do is buy some fuel resistent hose from Halfords with the correct slip-on inside diameter. TRs came new from the factory with no hose clamps but for obvious safety concerns, many TR owners secure the hoses at each junction with small clamps.

Hi Don,

Is that right? I hadn't realised the change to the later (and far neater)

connecting pipe came relatively late in production.
