Jersey Royal
Hi All, My set of dash knobs, choke, heater are all badly worn and need replacing. what is the easiest way of relacing them as they are proving difficult in taking off. Thanks for your help. Dan Dan, Have a look at the plastic stem of the knob, you will see a hole, insert a small screwdriver or rod and push in and at same time pull. Its held in place by a spring loaded button. Cheers Guy Nb top right of this page is a search facility, just type in knob or dash, and you will get a list of previous threads. Welcome to the forum. dykins
Dan You'll find that complete sets of reasonably priced replacement knobs often come up on Ebay. (Why have I got a grin on my face as I'm typing this?) Regards Peter

stuart
The new sets of knobs available are pretty good as they come from the states. Stuart.
Alec Pringle
Don't forget that the spring loaded button may well need some penetrating oil, WD40, Plus Gas, whatever, to free it off . . . they do tend to rust solid ! Cheers, Alec
Smokey
A 2" finishing nail is the perfect tool for removing the knobs. I always keep on in my toolbox.
