I’ve now spoken with the guy who grounded the Crankshaft and he assured me that the best job which could be done was done, and that the dulling on the oil scroll and oil seal land is a byproduct of cleaning and will brighten with the lightest of hand polishing with 800. Had this area been brought back to polish or I had been informed of the remedy when collecting the crank, I might have not been so critical.
