REJones
Conrad Could you put these pictures on the Forum please. I have tried to contact you without success. The main issue is how the H frame rods fit in. Richard
had17462
Hi ,the tr6 header rail has two factory made holes on each end that the front legs fit very nicely but you have to cut the legs by about 1 1/4 inches and attach them back together . Send me a pm your email address as for some reason the pics won't upload here. Nick

stuart
I shorten the front ends of the frame and put a "Z" shaped bar into the end of each tube that way you can turn the header rail down onto the frame to engage it and which with careful adjustment of the rear tube nuts makes it fit easier. Stuart.

REJones
The pictures tell a thousand words, so thanks for that. Final query is that I assume that I would have to replace my 4a header rail with one from a 6. Richard
stuart
The pictures tell a thousand words, so thanks for that. Final query is that I assume that I would have to replace my 4a header rail with one from a 6. Richard I did at one time think of trying it with a 4a header rail but I dont think it would work right as the 4a has the over centre catches which have a tendency to pull the rail backwards slightly. OK with a standard hood frame but I doubt there would be enough strength in a Surrey "H" frame to stop it turning backwards. So yes in short you will need a 5/6 header rail and assosciated catches. You will also need (If fitting to a 4a) the camlock fittings in the top of the screen frame. Stuart.
