pfenlon
On my TR6 I have covered the top of the door with Vynil to copy the very expensive door pulls they were fitted with. I have fitted a couple of retaining nuts so I can screw my TR4 door handles to, so the door can be closed easily, then I need to fit the door cards properly after finding where to cut the holes for the TR4 door handle screws. where the door pocket is fitted there are 2 self tappers, one at the front of the pocket and one at the Back, are the caps available separately for these screws, I need 4 but £29 seems a bit OTT. In fact my door cards don't have any holes for the screws which begs the question are they needed.
Guest ntc
I would not put the handles in the door card. Sorry should not post reply at your request.

tim hunt
I found the original pocket screw caps on my 4A a poor solution. If you are not bothered about originality why not do as I did and use chrome capped mirror screws. I see that the attached are available from Amazon at £1.25 for four including free delivery, besat that!! Tim

Cheers Tim. I would not put the handles in the door card. Sorry should not post reply at your request. Thank you, but I note you just cannot stop yourself. Kind regards Peter. RogerH
Hi Pete, the correct captive nuts are NOT available. They supply something odd. I use an M4 Ali rivnut and then re-tap it 8/32unf - so far it appears to work. Roger
