qim
Hi I'm having trouble getting these washers to fit the inside trim. The ones I have were fitted in the late 80s, but look as from the period the car was built. I don't know if they are original, but I would like to get some more. Rimmer sent me a kit which is ridiculously small (see attachments). Mine are on the left. Does any body have, or know where to get my old ones? BlueTR3A-5EKT
The smaller size is original. Peter W
Lebro
What size would like : http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-339-cup-washers.aspx Bob.
RogerH
Hi Qim, as per Pete's reply. The small one is correct. However your raised cup washer looks nice Roger
qim
Bob, please, don't laugh or show this to anyone in the forum, but... how do you read this (see attached photo). I wish there were digital gadgets!
Lebro
You need to show another photo with the jaws closed for me to answer that. Bob.
RogerH
Indeed - what does Zero look like? Roger
qim
Here it is. Where are you supposed to read the result? See earlier post for result. Edited March 23, 2017 by qim

Lebro
+1 I have one from Lidl, it's very good, I have checked it against an imperial micrometer, & it was spot on. Bob.
Lebro
Qim. your calliper is a "vernier" type normally not difficult to read, but yours is a bit unusual. If I could see how the scale looks when jaws closed right up, ie zero gap, then I can work it out. Bob.
qim
Right. I think I got it: 1.17 cm Edited March 23, 2017 by qim
Lebro
Based on your "Zero" photo, I would say the other (1st) photo shows 12.0mm. (or 1.20 cm) Bob.
qim
Thanks. I have already contacted Woolies, but am surprised at Peter W reply. In any case, they would be too small for me as the leather is already marked with the larger washers.
RogerH
Hi Qim, Bob has the measurement spot on. On your first pic you can see there are 10 raised parts to the lower bezel. The first raised part (marker) aligns with the 12mm (1,2cm) If the next raised marker was in alignment then it would be 12.1mm or 1.21cm and so on. Your raised cup washer may well be found in a furniture renovation store. Roger
