I replaced the minimum I could get away with 1 valve, head gasket set, i also bought a spin of filter for the old girl and i must agree with bob (Lebro)very impressed with it I reground all the valves, replacing only the badly damaged exhaust valve no3, took me all day to regrind the new valve and that was using a grinding tool of e bay, very impressed with it, I put the gasket Down using stag seal worked well compression is now 185. to 190 and the car is working well no smoke and an improvement in the performance should get another summer out of her, before a major refit using a low port head at the moment tr2 when i do the refit I am looking to buy a high port head, 40 webber carbs and a manifold light flywheel, parts to build a fast road if anybody has got any of these parts please contact me, cheers pink Edited February 13, 2017 by pinky Quote Link to post Share on other sites
