BillS
Has anyone got a spare push rod for sale to suit my engine no TS16820E? I wondered why the tappet gap kept changing and now I know why. Thanks Bill
jamie hart
I had a similar problem, I solved it by finding a suitable piece of tube at a steel stockhlder and swopped the cente section for the new tube. You will nedd access to a lathe so the ends can be faced off. Hope this helps

BrianC
The low port head engine fitted to my first TR3A had the slim pushrods (p/n 114035) which I believe were fitted to engine nos 12961E to 55690E, and I had one break and another bend before replacing them all with the thicker pushrods (p/n 106968) which were apparently fitted to earlier and later engines. I assume Triumph thought the slim line version would be lighter but then discovered the weakness. Moss still list the thicker ones as available.
