Jonny TR6
What’s the standard plenum diameter ? Mine’s 100mm and the clean air pipe from the filter sits inside the bore, whereas there’s smaller diameter “Triumph” stamped plenums (pleni ?) where the air feed goes over the outside of the bore. If your Heffalumps dick goes inside the plenum then yours has been enlarged, its a trick done by a lot of owners to supposedly get more air to 5&6 Stuart.
Jonny TR6
Funnily enough it hasn’t been enlarged. It’s a stainless tube with a single seam. Looks very well made - is/was there an aftermarket jobby made like this ?

john.r.davies
The original is only 3" (75mm) so yours has been expanded in designing a S/steel one Mine is 6" (150mm) wide, to achieve the objective mentioned by Stuart. Yes this does have the radiused stubs. I cut the strip that holds them from an original plenum and added a wider curve of steel panel: But enough willy waving! Yep - although work in progress, as my exhaust is off at the mo awaiting the new bracket. I’ve used the same spigot at the front for aesthetics as much as anything.
