Assuming one has the TR4 windscreen capping piece for the front of the soft top insertion, can the front of a TR4A soft top be altered to fit TR4? What do the insertion rods look like? It is do able as the soft top would come with enough waste edge material at the front to be able to sew in the rods. You would also need to remove the rear rail that the soft top would normally come with and over sew that to be able to take the lift the dot fasteners. The bars are available as a kit part number806696/MET though I doubt theyre made in sprung steel like the originals. Stuart. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
