Quicksilver
Starting to day around Lincolnshire For our first full day it is an early start as we have a long day in prospect. We head South into the heart of Lincolnshire for a day exploring new territory to “Testers”, which has an abundance of quality tracks and venues for us to enjoy. After a day of varied competition we pass over the Humber Bridge for a series of challenging sections in the dark before descending on our Hotel for two night, located on the outskirts of York. just two competitors with a Triumph DAVE BATCHELOR (GB)JACKIE BATCHELOR (GB)1962TRIUMPH TR4 TIM BIRKIN (GB)RUTH BIRKIN (GB)1966TRIUMPH TR4A Succes Marcel more info; HERO Events - RAC Rally of the Tests 2023 Edited November 2, 2023 by Quicksilver
Bleednipple
We were on it in our Golf (car 58). Marcel, was that you in the very charming DAF 55? A fab event this year. More of a Tour of Yorkshire really, with bits of Lincs and Co. Durham thrown in. Making best use of so many of the epic venues up there for the tests and TC sections - Cadwell Park, Bramham, Harewood Hillclimb, Catterick and more. As usual all the top crews showed up to make it the most hotly contested outing of the season. It looks like a brilliant event to take part in, but it's way over our budget ...(and there are more things in (Triumph car) life that we like...) Maybe we could combine it one time with a Triumph a road-TRip in England and then taste the atmosphere as a spectator ... kind regards, Marcel.
