John Mellor Posted October 7, 2023 Report Share Posted October 7, 2023 Hi all 62 TR4 - despite setting at max lean ( screwed up to the stop ) still rich. So winter's job is to refit gaskets using kit from Rimmer/Moss and check float level after replacing existing tatty levers. Never having looked inside an SU I'm a bit intimidated and don't want to waste my time with all those fiddly looking cork thingys and stuff if it's not the answer. Utube videos make it look straightforward. Thought I'd asked about this before but can't find the post, probably my early dementia!!! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

After stopping the motor and lifting the pistons do you fuel running in the venturi out of the jets? I am not an intimidated guy proof is that I marry 3 times...
