roy53 Posted June 25, 2023 Report Share Posted June 25, 2023 I have a newly rebuilt od fitted in a newly rebuilt and painted car so do not want to remove it and damage any paint if poss. On filling with oil it leaks from both ends of shaft . Did they fit them ? can i fit them when it is still in the car ? Or is it box out. Rebuilt by reputable gearbox company. John Mellor Posted August 18, 2023 Report Share Posted August 18, 2023 Had the same after a reputable gearbox rebuild. Overfilled gearbox didn't help and a change of O ring on driver side of the shaft sorted the leak without gearbox removal JohnMellor Quote Link to post Share on other sites
