CP26309
Cracked off the Centre retaining bolt, but already had a full bottle of fuel out! So where else does it flow from? Can’t be the input to the filter from the top of the tank can it?
CP26309
Tanks only quarter full, surely you don’t have to drain the tank?
John L
Yes if you don't want petrol everywhere! Just remember to take the clamps off before start the engine. John

Mike C
You need to block off the suction from the tank, and if the tank fuel level is high , the return from the PRV to the tank.
CP26309
What! Don’t have enough hands or clamps! I’ll drain the tank!
CP26309
Well that was a smelly ole job...given me a thumping headache! Not sure how often they are supposed to be changed? Hopefully not again in my lifetime!
CP26309
Just weighed my standard spare stove enameled wire wheel, equipped with a standard 165 tyre...20 Kilos!!! 2 Stone in old money!!!
Mike C
To avoid the petrol spills in future install a full bore stainless steel/PTFE ball valve in the suction line from the tank and only change the filter when the fuel level is below the PRV return line.
