The owner has asked me through a TR colleague in California, if it has a value and if so how much. The item is in Europe not UK. So lots of luck with customs and excise if not bolted on your car. Waldi Posted August 16, 2022 Report Share Posted August 16, 2022 Hi Peter, from own experience I know the cost to get there are considerable: Purchase a good one for restoration: 350,- Brackets (missing), new head lining, some rubbers, glue etc: 550,- Professional spray: 500,- Total cost 1400 euro (plus the work for installation etc). I looked long for a restored item, was ready to pay good money (700-1000), but was not offered one. But I agree, keep it with the car when selling it, especially when in body-colour.
