John G
Hi every one, I'm in the middle of converting the 6 to EFI, just thinking ahead i need to fit an adaptor into the blanking point just under the thermostat housing, I'm not sure what the thread size is online it suggests it 5/8" x 18 unf. Can anyone confirm if that is correct please, and if anyone knows where i can get one that would be brilliant. I'm thinking temperature adapter, male 5/8-18 in to 14mm npt. Many thanks John G. The horseman
Hello John, When converting my 6 to EFI (Emerald ECU) I removed the water pump housing planning to remove the blanking plug but it wouldn't shift after 50 years. Rather than damage the casting and further round the corners of the existing plug I just drilled and tapped it for the M12 X15 thread. There was plenty of material in the plug to allow this.
