John Morrison
Three Cumbria Group TR's joined a Scenic Car Tours Trip to The Outer Hebrides. S. Uist, Benbeccula, N. Uist, Harris and Lewis over five days. Spectacular driving on surprisigly good roads and fuel prices - not as bad as feared. Certainly a 'Bucket List Item - Ticked.' John. RogerH
Hi John, truly a beautiful place to be in the summer months. You missed the jewel in the crown, Barra. An excellent island. Not big, but with many interesting twists and turns - schedule beach landing airport, crashed WW2 aircraft, archaeology, castle, good food and drink Harris has some stunning roads made especially for the TR. And the Pentland road on Lewis ideal for a blast. I wish I was there with you. Roger
