The farmer made a very good point when he said that cattle are very good at turning stuff we humans can't digest into stuff that we can. Pete Pete, we can agree on that. But the counter argument is the land used to grow grass and corn for cattle feed would feed many more people if planted with crops suitable for humans. I dont regard humans as evolutionarily well adaoted to being veggies but it does look like reduced meat consumption is a necessary target in countering CC.
