Steve 07976
I'm currently rebuilding a 71 TR6. The wings when removed had a flexible sealant between the body and wings. I don't want to use anything that will stick too firmly and make it difficult to remove the wings in the future. what are people using?

ed_h
This seemed to work well for me. Comes in pre-formed strips. Never hardens. Ed Edited January 13, 2021 by ed_h

DIYBOSSCAT
Stuart, My car has recently come back from a respray. After fitting the wings back on using the 3M sealant do you paint it body colour or just leave the exposed seams black. My 6 is signal red. regards, Vince.

Dont overpaint as it will crack the paint over time, Stuart
