I had an 1970 XJ6 that was imported from the Isle of Man in 1974 and so had an "M" plate on it. When the 25yr tax exemption came in back in 97 I got it re registered with its correct "H" plate at the local licencing office. Unfortunately all those offices have closed now so its a lot harder to get this done . Stuart.
harlequin
Hi Stuart Yes I guess I will never know its fate. I was just very pleased to find the old photo of it as I had owned it for a long time and had driven all over Europe with it due to my job. All without a hiccup, apart from the dynamo dieing one dark wet night in Germany (West Germany in those days) George
