If I screw VL all the way into trunnion it is firm, however turning one turn out to allow for steering there is (probably) 3mm or so play (definately not 5mm) at the top of the VL so assume this is just the thread play. Car has only done 61,800 miles and 600 of that since 1982 so I assume this VL and trunnion are good to re-use. Am I correct, do you think? Thanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
