Wiper rockef switch problem

Hi my friends,

Wiper switch is only working on the slow speed not that it's real problem

As the fast speed is to fast,

Has any one stript the switch internally, to see if it is fixable

Not after an original any one got one for sale

If it is the clear hooters rocker switch it is possible to take it apart. Somethimes the issue is corroded contacts, which are easy to fix. Sometimes the contact or some.plastic supporting it has broken which is more challenging. Be careful however as it is possible to break the switch in the process of disassembly.

Well , tors and I are of to woodstock tomorrow, so I thought I better do majour surgery on the

Switch, as it is going to rain all the way up

 

2 clips at the back, unclipped them, out came the bits, small spring, copper plate (bridge section)

Rocker movement cleaned, greased, replaced, job done, works a treat

 

Nothing featured nothing gained
