pfenlon
How are the clear plastic centres removed to clean the switch logo. I see 2 sort of clips but I don't wish to break the covers when removing them, they are the same as the TR4 switches? Edited July 22, 2018 by pfenlon
MikeF
The push pull Spitfire/GT6 switches are the same, but the graphics styles are different. The clear plastic window can be popped out using a small screwdriver or blade inserted into the rebate in the window edge. The window clicks back into place with slight pressure. stillp
You really need to depress both the spring clips at the same time, but they get difficult when there's rust or dirt behind them. A cuople of mise have resisted all attempts to remove them - I'll try putting the knob in the ultrasonic cleaner (no schoolboy comments please!) sometime. Pete
pfenlon
I have been soaking the pull knobs and today I have got them off I will soak them in a tray before attacking the lenses again, but thanks for the information.
