harrytr5
I had my motor rebuilt and fitted it to the TR4a and despite turning the parking tin hat to park where it should, it parks with the arms slightly moving to the left not right to lie level with the windscreen. What have I done wrong. Can the copper contact inside the top hat be in the wrong way round as I put it together.I have fitted a few of these motors and never had a problem and they have always worked.I have even made one out of two in the past successfully but this one baffles me. Pictures and description would be great if you can. Regards Harry.
stuart
Sounds as if its almost overshooting the park position, I seem to remember Alan T mentioning something about that in his many posts about wiper motors, you could try and PM him or search his previous posts. AlanT
Take the wiper-arms off. Set the parker-cap so that the motor stops at just after top-dead centre. Put wiper-arms in the required position. You cannot put the parker contact in the wrong place and get the cap back on.
