Steves_TR6
My Tr6 has developed a bit of brake judder, well a vibration through the pedal mostly noticeable from motorway speeds :-) Had a search of the forum history and found that warped disks dont exist and that i probably have spot transfer ....... due to holding the car on the brakes after using the brakes hardish ? In any case....... Should i go with another set of the TRW grooved and dotted disks for about £60 or invest in something better quality ?? Car has standard non vented disks but toyota 4pot calipers, mintex pads. Thanks in advance! Steve

GT6M
this could be the calipers sticking the longer ye go, the hotter the disc gits and the moer it sticks whenst next out, try to not brake v much, and after a while,, touch the discs, if ya side of car is hotter than the others, then it shows that the hottest disc is stickin on its only the deformation of the rubber seal that brings the pads oft disc, if the wheel bearings are set reet if they not, then excess run oot will give pad nokback so check see if pads are no sticking M
Steves_TR6
Thanks Marcus I have CDD hubs with huge stub axles and modern bearings, since fitted there’s no pad knock back. Good point about the pistons sticking , will try a ‘no braking temp test’ Actually had the same issue on a golf a few years ago, very noticeable ‘hot wheel’ on the offending caliper
GT6M
common thing on sliding caliper on yours, it could just be ya side effected hard to tell really , but a clue is that the pads are a different ..appearance .. on the side thats stick,n and, some times the disc is blued on ya side. NOTE, be very wary touching the disc if its Hot, as it really will fry yer fing,r end !!! M
