AlanT
This is THE correct part for a 4A/5. I see about one of these a year to buy or p/ex. And so it carries a premium. This will be quite easy to get back to perfect condition. Not free of cost or risk of course. It's interesting that I just made and sold a couple of replicas. Often when I do this, "watchers" and I get a lot, often over a hundred, will ferret around and find one. Most useful from a spares supply viewpoint. Seriously this IS a buy for Concours, if you have the "wrong one". For a daily-driver my replicas have, better insulation, better lubrication, better wiring, better waterproof and much better paint. I'm using Nichrome wire insulated with PTFE instead of Cotton. You know heat/chem proof Teflon, frying pans etc. Not me selling and I can't buy at this price. So enjoy. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lucas-wiper-motor-DR3A-75568A-12v-RARE-triumph-tr-/272749707106?hash=item3f81263f62:g:YioAAOSwTf9ZXPnA

AlanT
Nice offer Helen. I'll be on to you at once if someone wants the exact part-number. I'm really not worried about the condition of these. I just do full rebuilds anyway. Have a look and see if you have one that you don't feel worth listing. Missing/burned out armatures for example. No gears etc. I make gears, rewind armatures and so on.
ray gill
Hi Alan I see what you mean regarding if you get an order. I think the one I have on eBay is ok but I must say in the add needs working on, As that wouldn't be right. But as you no that is very possible, I'm sure someone will buy it sometime. As we no everything sells in the end. you look like you do a fabulous job in what you do. Helen
