Hi Brian,

our engines employ two different cranks, the long and the

short back. As they are interchangeable you can not be

sure what is fitted.

 

Normally the late TRs should have the short back if I remember right

 

Take a look at the Fidanza flywheels. Be sure that they are only

availiable for one type of crank.

Hi Brian,

 

I know you are in NZ but speak to Chris Whitor, he has a web site. He is the Guru on the inter changing of parts on 2000 & 2.5 6 Cyl. Triumph engines as he used to race these engines. It will save you a lot of time and aggro. Buy a new oil pump only from him!
