brian-nz
Hi Having just acquired a 1974 CR TR6 in bits I seem not to have a flywheel. Will one from a 2.5 TC fit or any 2.5 for that matter. I can always get a new tr6 Ringgear to shrink on if I need to. Regards Brian
TriumphV8
Hi Brian, our engines employ two different cranks, the long and the short back. As they are interchangeable you can not be sure what is fitted. Normally the late TRs should have the short back if I remember right Take a look at the Fidanza flywheels. Be sure that they are only availiable for one type of crank.
astontr6
Hi Brian, I know you are in NZ but speak to Chris Whitor, he has a web site. He is the Guru on the inter changing of parts on 2000 & 2.5 6 Cyl. Triumph engines as he used to race these engines. It will save you a lot of time and aggro. Buy a new oil pump only from him! Bruce.
