Phil73TR6
Has anyone any experience of Blockley Radial tyres? Blockley are fairly new to the tyre manufacturing game but are focused on tyres for classic cars. Having started with cars of the 1920's they have extended their range and now offer radials (with an interesting 'dog bone' shaped tread) suitable for the TR6 and the period. They normally only sell direct or through their one and only distributor - MWS (wire wheels). As I am looking to buy a set of chrome wires from MWS, it would seem to make sense to have them fit and balance a set of Blockleys. That is as long as they are as good as their PR would have you believe! Any feedback?
peejay4A
Have a word with Paul Harvey. I think he has them on his Italia. Edited July 18, 2016 by peejay4A
Don H.
A lot of the vintage stuff at the Goodwood Revival and Member's Meeting run Blockley tires, and Julian Mazjub, the guy who started the company, always seems to be racing something truly interesting. Here's his pit display at this year's 74MM (in the background).
geoffd
You should check the manufacturing dates on the tyres before you decide to get them. I found MWS were very good to deal with. Geoff
