dawn
Hi everybody , A few weeks ago I had some great help with the restoration of my 1964 TR4 CT29326 In particular the rear suspension, I was flummoxed, Short story :- Car originally had deep dish leaf springs which I replaced inadvertently with new but earlier shallow curve type I used the same block spacers and the cars height was way too low . Number of people on the forum explained what had happened , I sent away for shorter U bolts, took out the spacer blocks and Bingo! the car is sitting there just as she should............Except! Here's my issue now, those spacer blocks had the holes for the Armstrong lever link on them, looking in Moss catalogue the earlier version had the armstrong connection on the lower plates (page 52 item 20 part numbers 674-530 and 674-540 , one side plate is, I think, thicker to compensate for the drivers side suspension difference in height ) BUT...Not Available from Moss Anyone have any idea where I can pick up these plates? I can have lugs welded on to the deep dish lower plates but to be honest rather than that I will buy leaf springs (again) ( deep dish this time ) and put the bloody blocks back chocks awayride height adjustednice I need this plate Thanks for your advise all around Dawn
