bonnietiler
Just wondered if the fabled 15bhp benefit after fitting a pair of these is in any way noticeable? I have a set of genuine TR8 cast iron manifolds on mine and was wondering if the stainless type of manifold was actually of any use or just snake oil? Cheers Bonnietiler
TriumphV8
More than any other engine the Rover will respond to a proper inlet manifold. Expect 30 HP on a stock 3500 and much more if you have a modified 5 litre like mine. I had a header from Real Steel for testing that was cheap, about 250 Euros, and worked but would not spend much more on that, the last cast headers from the 4.6 Range look perfect and are easy availiable in GB, maybe they can be modified to fit in the TR8.
