chris turner
One of the rare TR7 pedal cars made by Hamilton Brookes has just sold for £700 on e bay, just missed it.
malcolm
Wow. I've not seen one of those before. Unlucky for loosing the auction - I notice the winning bidder came in just a couple of minutes from the end Malcolm.

malcolm
And I thought Tom had bought it for his next V8 project after the TR40 Malcolm.
chris turner
Cant wait to see the TR40, unlike most TR owners I actually like the shape.
johnwood
if you scroll down about halfway on this page you will see that you missed a bargain. http://www.westendclassics.co.uk/automobilia.htm For £1100 I bought a one owner from new solihull FHC with 82000 genuine miles on the clock. It has never been welded and my brother is using it as his every day car doing a 65mile round trip. Nice to display though, there used to be one in the patrick collection badged as a TR8 in gold with the registration LOG1X
tr7v8
Chris, would you mind storing a couple of our cars that we have kicking around so I can start on it then ??? V8 in a pedal car - I thought about it but i dont think my legs could keep up :: Tom
chris turner
The one on e bay is a bargain compared to the West end classics example. Could it be the same one? The problem with pedal cars is the competition from 2 sources, the TR7 enthusiasts and the pedal car collectors. Sorry Tom I havent any spare space at the moment, my garages seem to shrink each time they are used.
tr7v8
haha, shrinking garage syndrome - same problem here Chris!!! Thats why people collect pedal cars obviously, I could build my own multistory car park
