John L Posted October 12, 2015 Report Share Posted October 12, 2015 Should the hood front rail be a tight fit to the sides, or should there be some play here, its originally fitted with a rivet RF2710. Mine is a loose fit and squeaks a lot, wondering if I should but a bolt in there and get it tight? Will of course need to be a thin head and nut for clearance. You could peen them tight with a hammer and suitable sized dolly. Bolts are OK but need to be small or they will foul. Stuart. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
