AndrewP
Its amazing what you can do as long as the leather is sound underneath the colour. I used Gliptone/liquid leather for my Jensen interior a year or so ago and can highly recommend it (and looking at the amazing results Gary has posted, the furniture clinic stuff works just as well). The key is in the preparation (as always) and as long as the leather is not cracked/dry and well fed, then you can pretty much change any colour to any colour. For application I used a airbrush setup from eBay, with the 1mm nozzle to get a nice even coating on the leather. I applied the first coat with a sponge. Bit of a before and after for me...theres ALOT of leather in an Interceptor! Before:-- After:-- Happy to walk through the process if anyone wants. Cheers Andrew Edited June 28, 2015 by AndrewP
grumpy2
Matt, The airbrush in the kit is matched to the thick leather dye and doesn't work in normal airbrushes. I tried using my badger airbrush with no success whatsoever. Gary
