david c
Evenin' all Running a new fuel line tomorrow. I know this topic has been covered before but I am not sure that a conclusion was ever reached. My concern is the route through the tee shirt box 1" away from the shiny new 2" dia. exhaust pipe. The old pipe came out of that area, the brake line runs through it, but I have an irrational fear of setting fire to the car with, especially with me in it. Though I don't remember reading about TRs catching fire? But the only other route I can see is for a short section to run below the chassis, again not ideal. I would appreciate advise. jerrytr5
I'd use some heat shielding around the fuel pipe to help prevent vapourisation. Probably unnecessary for brake lines, but wouldn't hurt. This stuff is good - available in various diameters: http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1606 Jerry
