Alec Pringle Posted December 21, 2014 Report Share Posted December 21, 2014 Nothing wrong with the Holts product, but don't expect miracles from it . . . . it's a consumer product, rather than a trade product, and it won't do any harm if you follow the instructions. Cold is a relative term, I'd prefer to flush first with lukewarm water and then with cold, avoid unnecessary thermal shock.. If the engine is good and hot, pouring in water straight from the tap in winter at 10C or less is asking for trouble in a wet liner engine - or any other engine for that matter !
