andrewt Posted May 23, 2005 Report Share Posted May 23, 2005 i may have as i considered using it for a while. now i have the engine up & running on a 3.08:1 i am going the other way & have bought a 2.84:1 (from a Vandem Plas Auto) to up the gearing to suit the torque. i will check if i still have the 3.45 Andy Quote Link to post Share on other sites

andrewt Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 well as i have two axles i thought i might keep the entire 3.08 as a spare, but i could be persuaded to part with it. It has rebuilt brakes with 4 speed (or Tr8 spec) rear cylinders, new standard pads, all new pins clips etc. It has been shot blasted, primed & undersealed etc. & had all new bearings when built. it has done around 8000 miles since then. However i think the backlash needs reset on the diff as there appears to be a little too much. You could make me an offer Note i am in Aberdeen! Andy Quote Link to post Share on other sites
