Mark69
Any ideas how to stop a small end bearing turning in the con rod. Mark.
Rob Salisbury
New bearing, or new rod, anything else is just a bodge, I suppose you could try having the bearing knurled, or one of the super locktite adhesives, if a new bearing is turning in the rod I would replace the rod (Check for balance weight with the other rods and adjust if necessary) Cheers Rob

Motorsport Mickey
As Rod intimates, the bearings are mass manufactured and all the important dimensions should turn out within nano amounts of one another. If the small end bearing is loose in the rod it suggests the rod may have a problem, check it without the bearing in against the others, it's likely it needs changing.
