John L
I was checking the opening of the throttle butterflies today, and find that the new meant to be hard plastic have deteriated in the heat next to the exhaust pipes. Only been a couple of years. I want to keep the same throttle arrangement, but is there a better material/metal bush to use instead? John

AlanT
If you want a plastic solution the material is PTFE. Basically heat-proof.
