Revolution
Morning Guys! You may remember my exploits with the hissing cylinder head....well we're up and running and with the exception of a couple of leaks around pushrod tubes, the car is running well Just one little concern, I hope! The temperature guage moves quite steadily towards the red segment whilst driving along but when I slow down or stop in traffic, the needle goes back to normal No sign of overheating or loss of water Do you reackon sender unit, temp guage, (new thermostat fitted) OR possibly water pump? Any thoughts? Regards, Nick
stuart
Voltage regulator may be the culprit, does your fuel gauge read odd? Stuart.
Revolution
Thanks Stuart, Now you come to mention it, the fuel gauge does fluctuate a bit so the Voltage Regulator may be the culprit....will have a look! Nick
Lebro
Agree with above - most likely the regulator for the gauges Bob.
