Len,

This car has had an extremely interesting history having been customised by one of its previous owners in the mid seventies and featured at an Alexandria Palace Custom car show under the name of "Screwball". At that time it had a hardtop trimed in white everflex, black draylon headlining, draylon trim, white spoiler and rear panel, chromed underbonnet, exotic underbonnet murals (which it still had in 2000 when I last saw it), external murals etc. These had all been removed by 1979 and it was when it was owned by Andrew Smith between 1990 and 1996 that it was used in the Vodophone advertising campaign. I will see if I can contact Andrew on the telephone number in the records to see if he can give an exact date.
