chris turner
One key is for the ignition and doors, the other is for the glovebox and boot.
simon
That means I'm missing the glovebox and boot one can I order new keys to this number or will I have to change the locks?
chris turner
Just get the key and it should fit the locks if they havent been changed.
peterh
There were 2 type off boot lock use on the TR7 most had a recess turn button lock but the late one had a flush fit push button lock did not this type off lock use the ignition key to open it? I can not remember now but a 1977 car should have the recess type lock and if so as Simon only have one key I take it the boot is not lock. If some one looking for a late type lock I had a spare one if I can find it they a bit hard to come by and I told a new one is over £50 now Peter
chris turner
Both types of bootlock use the same key as the glovebox.
