KeithT68 Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 Hi Guys Im a member of the register and have owned a TR6 for 10 years Im looking at buying a resoration project and have been offered a complete car along with a spare new chassis and some other bits and pieces The guy has had the car since 1970 - its a TR3A in Primrose Anything I should be looking out for in particular and what sort of prices do these go for? foster461 Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 Keith, as you probably know is all about the condition of the body.. It is all repairable as long as it is not too far gone. You do get into another level of restoration if the inner sills have gone. If they are intact and you are just dealing with floors, battery box, outer sills etc it is doable with moderate skills and a lot of tools. I'm three years into a TR3A resto project and I drove that car home. Probably another year to go. Total cost for my project will be about double what the car will be worth so bear that in mind..
