wayne taylor
What a fiasco!! Nightmare - more like it. Never in all my life has so little been completed in so long a time frame. Fine getting the b***ard off but a bi**h to get back on and leak proof to boot. So - my question is: should I convert to an oil filter upgrade kit? Pro's and Con's please? Cost? bob-menhennett
Wayne Cost cica £45 / £50 plus postage depending on supplier, if you fit it yourself.Make sure you get the right fitment, dependant on the original type of filter head !! Reasons why....I think you've answered that yourself. ( a pound for every expletive used.I bet the swear box has got half the required expenditure already !! ).. in a word..convenience. mike3md
...... spin on they may be, but can take some getting off. Easier if you use the longer type of filter to get a good purchase. You will probably need a filter wrench or strap as well. Mike
