Malcolm Tatton Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 Although I've searched the forum and found some interesting posts about replacing Dzuz fasteners on the bonnet, can't see how I get them out in the first place.... My service manual doesn't seem to mention them, and my parts book has the part nos but no illustrations. Sorry if I'm being dumb but how do I remove them please as I need to paint the bonnet? stuart Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 If your lucky you can bend the retaining washer down wards and then pull it over the Dzus. If not then you will need to just cut it. Remove the Dzus and then you will have to peel the flattened ally seat out of the hole in the skin. No real easy way to do that but if your going to paint it anyway it wont matter, or careful masking of the ally seat and leave it in there. Stuart. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
