ctc77965o Posted January 31, 2011 Report Share Posted January 31, 2011 Hi All, I found a TR4A for sale locally (which is very unusual out here), I wondered if you'd be able to help me estimate when it was built. Chassis No is CTC 71140 my own car is 77965 and that's May '67.... 71140 is '66 but can anyone hazard a guess when given their own car's known build date?? here's the ad http://www.mudah.my/vi/8428713.htm quite a reasonable A/C install... which is really neccesary here, not so much for passenger comfort but for dehumidification/demisting when it's raining... graeme Posted January 31, 2011 Report Share Posted January 31, 2011 (edited) Hi Dave, My car is CTC 68*** and was built on 3rd May 1966 so I would guess that CTC 71140 was built late July or early August 1966 based on a build rate of 1000 units a month.
