2long Posted November 10, 2010 Report Share Posted November 10, 2010 Does anyone know the precise or approximate TS number when the original TR-2 horn (WT614) was replaced by the later part number (WT618, I think), and are the two types different? vivdownunder Posted November 10, 2010 Report Share Posted November 10, 2010 Dan, all I can add is that a change was made to the horn trumpet by the manufacturer. It went from pear shaped to more of a triangular shape. The Factory Parts Catalogue doesn't record the change number, but I think Bill P wrote that it was somewhere very early into TR2 production. I was kind of hoping it was an early change, as I dug through my old parts box and found two WT614s (high and low) that I think are my original ones. They don't work but I will definitely fiddle with them if they are unique to the early TR-2 and are original fitments. Funny that none of the books say when the change was made, as far as I can tell.
