I think it goes on the bulkhead between the choke cable exit (Strombergs) and the throttle lever, but does it fit with terminals towards the engine or away. Help appreciated! Rubber covered plunger towards the inner wing. (at least, that's the early TR4 SU carbs arrangement - can't see any reason to change) AlanR Quote Link to post Share on other sites

RogerH Posted September 15, 2010 Report Share Posted September 15, 2010 Hi Geoff, unless you are going for concorse why not fit the solenoid where you can get to it. I have put mine on the bulkhead below the brake & clutch master cylinders - loads of room. That area between the battery/steering shaft and bulkhead side panel gets very cluttered.
